Devin Bull: Today's special guest is Mel Forillo. Mel has one of those
jobs most people would never consider doing. Mel is a garbage man. Mel
welcome and . . . what is that smell?
Mel: Thanks to you Devin Bull and your team for having me here today. That
smell, well it is what I refer to as my trash deodorant. It only comes in
one flavor, unbearable. And besides that it is long lasting. No need to
reapply after showering, it is still there.
Devin Bull: Great! Mel if you can just sit over here, we've got someone
bringing in a fan and we'll keep you downwind if you don't mind.
Mel: I don't mind. In fact, I think my sense of smell is so badly
deteriorated everything smells the same to me now.
Devin Bull: How does one get started in a profession like garbage man?
Mel: Well, let's just say it is not something you set out to do. I applied
for a job with my local city and this was all they had available.
